The fixture is a cylinder on a foot as fine as possible. The cylinder hides the light source to achieve a dark light effect with a standard retrofit lamp. The fine elegant suspension makes the luminaire more an object. The patinated brass is used for a timeless aspect, it shows the material in its depth which can not be obtained with coated materials. By extending the suspension, the lamp gets a decorative aspect, for example above a dining table.
