GAS light, wall / David Kohn

David Kohn, one of UK architecture’s rising stars, was inspired by historic gas-powered street lamps to inspire his GAS series of lights. The frosting on the glass bell obscures the light source so that the glow gives a mysterious ethereal hue. It becomes something pleasurable and playful much like the flame from a candle. The wall light brings that special atmosphere indoors.
