accent switch plate / Maxim Lester

The Raw Zigurrat Square switch plate is inspired by brutalist metalworks of the 1970s and 1980s, reminiscent of the raw bronze work of Paul Evans and Silas Seandel. Cast in crumbly, water-bonded sand for a raw surface and then lightly polished, the design treats the bronze as the main event, letting it tell the unique story of how it entered the mould and froze in place.
