Originally from a craft background, Will Foster worked for renowned blacksmith James Horrobin before completing his BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff in 1996. He began his training under the tutelage of former RIBA President Michael Manser before gaining a Professional Diploma in Architecture at London Metropolitan University in 2000. He was then headhunted by World Stadium Team (Foster + Partners & HOK Sport) to work on the new Wembley Stadium before joining Patel Taylor and finally co-founding Foster Lomas in 2005.
