Schmidt/ Hammer/ Lassen Architects is one of Scandinavia’s best known practices, with projects across the world. It is committed to Nordic architectural traditions based on democracy, welfare, aesthetics, light, sustainability and social responsibility. Founded in 1986, it merged with Perkins + Will in 2018. Danish designer Lars Vejen worked on the handle designs during his time at Schmidt Hammer Lassen, before setting up his own practice.
