Gregory Gatserelia is an internationally renowned designer with an appropriately international background. Born in Georgia, he was raised and educated in France before moving to Lebanon where he took a degree in interior architecture at Académie Libanaise des Beaux- Arts. In 1987, with his brother Alexander, he founded the design company Gatserelia Design International, based in Toronto. However, in 1996, with the end of the civil war in Lebanon, he moved the company to Beirut, from where he won work all over the world. Gatserelia has previously designed objects, including handles, for individual clients. This range represents the first opportunity for other architects and clients to incorporate ironmongery using his magic within their own designs.
