Tawanda Chiweshe and Francisco Gaspar are a London-based design duo whose practice is built on a shared belief in prototyping as an iterative methodology. Gaspar and Chiweshe translates architectural thinking into tangible forms that are both deeply considered and intentionally open-ended. Their logic treats design as an act of translation, producing work that is led by intention to root work in the now. Their creative collaboration was honed during a defining tenure whilst at ALASKA ALASKA, where they worked alongside mentor and collaborator Virgil Abloh on generation-defining projects. Today, Chiweshe and Gaspar operate across commercial, cultural, and artistic contexts, as a way to rethink existing systems by working across different disciplines and contexts to adapt to an ever-changing cultural landscape.
