Russian for fish

The owners of a Victorian terrace in Brixton commissioned architecture practice Russian For Fish to completely upgrade their home, including designing a rear extension that would bring more light in from the garden. Behind this kitchen, which has is largely glass with black accents, is a new bathroom. The emphasis on natural materials and black accents continues there, with marble surfaces juxtaposed with black accessories. The bathroom has a sliding wooden door, opened with a flush pull by Vesna Aksentijevic. The understated rectangular shape and dark finish provide a perfect complement to the other elements of the extension.
